Last time, With the preliminary list building out of the way and more than a little bit of doubt about her capabilities in my head, I decided that my first outing with the Wraith Witch would be at a tournament. Seems good, right? well, lets see how that worked out for me, don’t we!
For a certain segment of players, Lock and Load brought out a bunch of cool previews. Theme force Previews were among the largest, with Cryx, Legion, Khador, and Blindwater Congregation getting the most information regarding future themes. Additionally, it was revealed that each faction would be getting a model around Christmastime, hopefully every year, to ease a bit of the pain of not getting something on a regular basis. While many of these things were cool, I’m really excited about the Cryx stuff, because its what I am going to play. Lets take a look!
Lock and Load 2017 might be a high water mark in what I was able to accomplish in just a few days of gaming. I played a ton of games and met a slew of people, and came home with some Sweet art and other toys. Continue reading
This week, I’ll be heading to Lock and Load, out in Seattle. I’ll be hanging out and playing games in the Iron Arena all weekend, with the exception of making a farce of myself playing in the Masters. Whats the plan with those games, eh? Continue reading
Once again, I get stuck with a bottom barrel caster, which is fare, given the Internets penchant for delivering the best possible result to the most poorly asked questions. Agathia and Mortenebra 2 were excellent surprises that I was glad to have played, but Sturgis was just misery all around. Well, except for one game. I kept thinking to myself, at least its not Denny 2. Well, here we are! Lets see what I’m going to do with her!
I’ve taken a short break (about 3-5 weeks) from my D&D articles, and I’m going to write a few thoughts about the games I’ve played so far this year. I don’t think its going to be anything groundbreaking or amazing, but it’ll be fun. Follow me now into the first of the series: Thea: The Awakening. This game, something that will have been our for 2 years this November, is easily among the favorites I’ve ever played. It took me a little bit of time to figure out why, but man, I am hooked.
