Every year, with the help of a number of good friends, I run Warmachine and Hordes events for the Nova Open, a fairly large (2000+ attendee) Miniatures game convention here in Washington DC.
This year is no different, though in years prior I’ve done a much better job at a build up. This year, its happening the same week this comes out, so the chances of me convincing one of you to come out here are a lot less. Still, next year try and make some plans to come to see me!
I like D&D. I like it very much, and it is one of the most enduring pastimes that I’ve had. Unlike nearly every other game or hobby I’ve had, I’ve never voluntarily put it on hold. I also like MTG very much. It’s a game that I can pick up and put down with relative ease, going to pre-release events and playing well enough every couple of months to feel good about playing.
Well, I’ll be damned if they aren’t going to jam these two right together again with a new sourcebook for D&D – Guildmasters Guide to Ravnica
I cannot tell you how excited I am to get this into my hands!
Just because I’m pretty set on my lists for the next while doesn’t mean that I’m not thinking about other lists or casters. Let’s take a look at what I would love to play if I had enough games in my system to just play whatever I wanted:
Its been a while since I did a D&D post about building and creating worlds, so, I think I’m just gonna rant for a short time on a small problem I found, involving map scales, and how I think I solved it.
Well. I’ve been playing a Scaverous list for a while now, and there were some problems with the list. Now, though, after a couple changes, I think I’ve settled on a list I am very, very happy with, especially into this new medium based meta.
We’ve come to this. The end. The final 7 albums, recommended as Best of’s in 2018. This week, we’ll be looking at a few different sub-genres, all of which were recommended to me, the same as last month, by my friends. Let’s take a look, shall we!
This post is going to be something that I’ve been working on for a while in my head. It’s going to be hard enough to convey the message that I want, so I’ve shied from actually typing this one up. However, I think now is as good a time as any. Lets get this out of the way.
