This is the final month for Brawltimore, of local qualification league. There is the LCQ, giving the winner a chance to qualify for the event, and there will be the Invitational finals on 4/27. I’ve been riding the Scaverous train for a long while now, seven months, as far as I can remember. Its had ups and downs, and I have had a lot of fun using him and getting used to the list. This tournament I once again brought Scaverous and Gaspy 3 just to make sure that I never encountered guns. It was the Third of the Brawltimore Series that we run down here every year, and this one went the distance: 20 players, 5 rounds.

When I was first testing Scaverous, I was having a pretty good time into most heavy infantry. It was hard to maintain coherency and cohesion when models were getting Choking ashed, pulled apart by Black Ogrun, and other nasty effects. At NOVA, I was able to get in 4 games with Scaverous. It’s not as many as I wanted (8) but it was more than I expected as I was in charge of the tournaments. Three were in the team tournament, and two were pick up games that I was able to sneak in. Let’s take a look at them!
I’ve played the Slayer list more than a handful of times now, and I’m starting to form an opinion on it. Let me surprise all of you: It’s not positive.
