Each year, I author an event called Brawltimore in my local area. This year, for the first time, I managed to also qualify. While a friend and awesome organizer ran the event, I had the privilege of playing, and played four great opponents in four awesome rounds.

The Necrotechs Workshop – XLX – Industrious Dojo
I find that many times, Making lists is a very boring endeavor. Because of themes we have a fairly set regimen of what is known good, what is known to be mediocre, and what is considered the unplayable. It feels, fairly often, that all you’re doing is swapping casters within the known lists. This week, though, I’ve spent a lot of time in the dojo making lists, and it feels very strange.
The Necrotechs Workshop XLIX – The Fleet Arrives
As I write this today, the final Black Fleet models have arrived into Warroom, and I am ready to start building lists with them, trying to squeeze the most fun and effectiveness out of each list and model.
Back before the CID, I put up a review of both Slaughter fleet, and Scourge of the Broken Coast. Even though the models have changed, I’m not going to go over the basics of the theme this time. Instead, I’m going to look at the models that have been pushed out and what lists I think they are going to shine in.
The Necrotechs Workshop XLVIII: Tournament Report – Scaverous and Deneghra 2
By the time you read this, I’ll have played in another tournament and likely have done maddeningly poorly, but I wanted to write a little bit about a a few of games I played in the last tournament. In this one, I brought Scaverous and Denny 2, and both lists were ones I created on my own. If you know anything about me by now, know that this didn’t go very well.

Tour de Cryx Continued: Denny 2 Surprise Part II: Retrospective
The Tour is over, but as each caster receives new imaginings, or is released for the first time, I’m still going to take some time to go through them. I’ve finished up the five games with the New Deneghra 2, and though I will play many more with her as she is incredibly deep, these are my current impressions.
