I was Knocking out games left and right at Lock and Load, and after I completed Aiakos 2, It was time to move on to a ‘Caster I had plans for since the start of 3rd: Master Necrotech Mortenebra.
With these next few casters, I’m going to be doing a semi-truncated form of the normal post. I’ll be doing this both to get current – I’m currently 5 casters behind – but also because I knocked through them in almost no time, doing catch-up on the tour during Lock and Load. First one of those up: Aiakos 2. Lets take a look at him, why don’t we!-
While it’s been a long time since it happened, I’m finally here, with the finale of the Deneghra 2 Articles, and if you took any hint from the article title, you’ll already know where this ends. Either way, come on it, lets talk about Denny 2 for a bit!
For a certain segment of players, Lock and Load brought out a bunch of cool previews. Theme force Previews were among the largest, with Cryx, Legion, Khador, and Blindwater Congregation getting the most information regarding future themes. Additionally, it was revealed that each faction would be getting a model around Christmastime, hopefully every year, to ease a bit of the pain of not getting something on a regular basis. While many of these things were cool, I’m really excited about the Cryx stuff, because its what I am going to play. Lets take a look!
Lock and Load 2017 might be a high water mark in what I was able to accomplish in just a few days of gaming. I played a ton of games and met a slew of people, and came home with some Sweet art and other toys.
This week, I’ll be heading to Lock and Load, out in Seattle. I’ll be hanging out and playing games in the Iron Arena all weekend, with the exception of making a farce of myself playing in the Masters. Whats the plan with those games, eh? Continue reading
Well, thanks everyone.
Once again, I get stuck with a bottom barrel caster, which is fare, given the Internets penchant for delivering the best possible result to the most poorly asked questions. Agathia and Mortenebra 2 were excellent surprises that I was glad to have played, but Sturgis was just misery all around. Well, except for one game. I kept thinking to myself, at least its not Denny 2. Well, here we are! Lets see what I’m going to do with her!
When I started conceiving of, and then playing, Agathia lists I was cautiously optimistic. She wasn’t a blockbuster caster, and there were glimmers of hope. After her five games, though, I think I’ve found a flake or two of gold.
After a pair of games with Agathia, I was starting to really get the hang of her, and there was a surprising amount of unlocking to do with her. In a fairly surprising turn of events, I think I was starting to enjoy myself.
When I signed up for this, I never expected Agathia to bubble to the top right away. After the first poll, though, I knew she wouldn’t be far behind, because the internet is a ruthless master. I expected Aiakos 2 to win out first, but that wasn’t the case. Lets take a look at her, and see where I started out.
